Catching up ...

I haven't posted to the blog in a blue moon!!  What can I say???  Having 3 kids finally got the best of
me!! ; )  So here's a quick synopsis of the last 6 months or so ... w/ a few picture "highlights" : )  ...

Christmas came & went too quickly as always ...

Cade played for a Liberty basketball team for the very 1st time ever.  There were 2 Liberty teams ... we played each other in the league play-offs.  Cade's team won! : ) ...

Ethan transitioned to a "big boy" bed.  Using a slightly stolen design from Jenni & Dave, David & I built, painted & hung E's new bed.  He loves it!! ...

We painted faces w/ Noelle's face painting kit ...

We rang in 2012 at the lakehouse w/ Vivi & Pops ...

We added a new member to our family- Holly, our part Maltese, part Shih Tzu puppy.  She's really Noelle's puppy ... but we all love her! ...

Valentines Day ...

3 baby squirrels fell out of their nest perched precariously at the top of our chimney & into our house.  We were able to keep them for a few weeks in a renovated "bird to squirrel" house (the kids were thrilled!) & help them get ready to be "released back into the wild" ... aka our backyard! : ) I did have some precious pics of the kids playing w/ the squirrels ... but they got erased during an iPad incident : ( ...

We went skiing w/ the fam in Beaver Creek, where both Cade & Noelle took private ski lessons & rocked the slopes afterward!! ... again- great pics lost in the iPad debauchel ... but a few choice videos will do!

We celebrated Easter & the Bunny himself paid us a visit ...

Noelle joined her very first team sport, playing soccer for the Tornadoes.  She was a super-star!! ...


Spring brought with it much sunshine & plenty of play time outside ...

One of my favorite things we did all spring was go to a TCU baseball game ... Go frogs!! ...

We ended the school year w/ a bang & three cheers for summer, summer, summer!!! My camera ran out of batteries ... so not as many cute pics of the boys : ( ...

Pop's turned 65!! We did a little photo-shoot with him & all the grand-kids.  These are pages from the album I made him using those pics as a Father's Day present ...

Memorial Day @ the lake ...

Noelle had her very first official Lemonade Stand complete with 4 customers ... which in our quiet little neighborhood is saying a lot! ...

We completed the Pergola (only took us a year!) ...

ProSource held there annual Golf Tourney & I was the photog ...

David partially amputated his thumb during a boating accident on an ill-fated trip the lake w/ 5 other families from our baseball team in tow ... sorry no pics on this one!!


Ethan turned THREE!! My baby boy is growing up : ( ...

We celebrated the 4th of July lake-side ...

David took me to a BNL concert, up close & personal, where the lead signer made friends with a grass-hopper affectionately named "Gary" (you probably had to be there!) ...

Ashly had her baby!! A sweet little baby boy weighing in at 8lbs ...William Locke Mackenzie ...

We spent 9 days at the lake in August which was dubbed "Cousins Camp" because it was primarily just the girls & the kiddos.  We also managed to squeeze in another trip to Thursday night karaoke @ Main Street Grill (you definitely have to be there!!) ...

And finally ... we closed down summer w/ a last dip in the pool on a somewhat cloudy (and definitely cool day for August in Texas!) followed by a dinner of  iCarly's "Spaghetti Tacos".  Still can't believe summer's over.  Boo! : ( ...

So there you have it- in short, our families little adventures.  And now ... I aim to stay caught up!!
